New study shows increased awareness of crowdscore

Smartson aim to be the leading actor in SRM (Social Recommendation Marketing) and to have a crowdscore (symbol of recommendation) that consumers are familiar with. We conduct annual surveys of this awareness to be able to validate our position with our users and consumers.

This year’s YouGov-study shows that Smartson’s awareness continues to grow. On average, 37,8 percent are familiar with Smartson in Sweden - the highest awareness is within the young families section where 60 percent have good insight into Smartson as a brand.

We have during this year continued to work consistently with the crowdscore together with our customers - more and more brands implement the crowdscore in their communication strategy and we can see the effects of that. In addition to increased sales, the value of being a recommended brand is an important factor for our clients, regardless of the market. Genuine and transparent recommendations from the target audience is simply invaluable.

The survery was conducted during the period 2016-05-04 to 2016-05-08 via YouGov Sweden’s internet panel.

Selection:The survey was conducted among men and women 18-74 years of age in Sweden. An e-mail invitation was sent out to people who fit the criteria for the study. The sample is representative of the Swedish population in terms of gender, age and region.

Analysing the data:The data was analysed based on the criteria of gender, age and region against the background of a model from Statistics Sweden, so that the result is representative of the population in relation to the total number of people who participated in the survey.
