We’re following the way you are constantly creating dialogue about your range via a clear recommendation strategy with great interest. Are you surprised about the response you have received from your work with social media, for example?
I’m surprised that so many consumers are so interested in toilet cleaning products. These aren’t the kind of products that people tend to get enthusiastic about. It’s been great fun to get all the opinions and thoughts from our consumers.
We’re now watching with interest to see how you are using recommendations in store signage. What effect has it had?
Measuring the effect of just this aspect is tricky, we know it’s given our sales team something new to talk about and created an opportunity for more external exposure and extra display space increases sales.
